Dear Dani and Gloria,
It is with real pleasure that I am writing to tell you how much I have
enjoyed my long haired doxie, Tobey. He will be just one year old in
a few weeks and the time has flown by. He is the sweetest, most
loving of all the doxies I've owned over the past 30 years and he has
enriched my life immeasurably.
It was with trepidation that I even bought another dog after the
terrible pain of losing my little Fritzi last summer to a neighbor's
strychnine poison hidden in peanut butter. At just two years of age,
it was a devastating loss and I was sure I'd never be able to love
another daschund again and risk the heart ache of losing him to a
neighbor's inhumane obsession with chipmunks.
Fortunately, my daughter and granddaughter kept working with me after
Fritzi was murdered and they saw your ad in the Erie newspaper. I
almost cancelled out at the last minute but they picked me up last
fall and we drove to your home. Both my daughter and granddaughter
fell in love with Tobias in a heartbeat. Always before I've chosen
red short hairs and so I did not instantly warm up to the new look.
Your Mom assured me that he would be the best natured dog I ever owned
and sure, enough, he is.
Your fine breeding, warmth and patience certainly eased my transition
into new puppy motherhood and I've never regretted that decision
since. Even with the middle of the night trips outdoors and the
ruined carpeting ( he certainly didn't do it all-there were three dogs
before him here) I've adored this little guy enormously. He is
devoted to me but has a big enough heart to allow little children to
love him as well, something other doxies sometimes find difficult to
do. I'm sure you can tell how grateful I am to you for breeding the
absolute nicest doxie ever. To end the story happily, I just had the
whole house carpeted and new hardwood floors installed in the kitchen
and dining room. And Tobey respects the new clean floors and is
finally fully trained. Yippee! He's a joy, a clown, and a rascal who
will steal your heart in a New York minute.
Thanks again. If you ever need to rehome one of your babies or adults
give me a call.

I adopted two puppies from Gloria and they are just the best boys!
Odie and Sherman are brothers from two different litters and
they are just the most loving little guys. They have excellent
temperments and are the best of friends. I would highly recomend
getting a puppy from Gloria. These puppies were healthy, happy and
have wonderful confirmation. Gloria was honest, and professional
and cares deeply about the dachshund breed.

i just wanted to say i have known Gloria Bowen for years. Gloria truly
knows and loves what she does. Gloria called at the exact time we were
looking for a new puppy, I went out to the house and brought home the
sweetest little red puppy you would ever want. I brought her home on
Nov.18 ,08. We named her Chile Bean but she is called Beanie.
I never owned a Dachshund but have come to truly love them for their
grand loving, comical and funny personality.our little Bean has been such
a joy and all around little shadow. Our lives have surley been blessed
with her in it.I would buy from Gloria repeatedly if we had more room.
thank you

My husband and I adopted our little Summer Sausage from Gloria in February 2009.
Our crazy bundle of spunk has kept us smiling from day one.
We could not be happier with our choice to adopt from Gloria and were pleased with the whole process,
I would recommend her to anyone so is thinking of adopting one of these loving creatures!
The pups are a part of Gloria's family from the day they are born until they join a new family,
so "Thank you" for completing our family!
Love,
John, Angela, and Summer Otto
